The 2008 Hawks Aloft raffle quilt was designed by Gail Garber, Executive Director.  The design grew from the center panel, which is a Katazome, indigo-dyed panel of a Japanese crest featuring three cranes.   The center panel was created by Garber during a class taken in the fall of 2007.
